SCs posting immediately?!

Has anyone noticed points/SCs for QF flights seem to post extremely quickly now?

I had two flights the other day, NRT-BNE and BNE-MEL and in both cases the flight had posted by the time I turned my phone back on.

Seems a bit hard to believe I know!

I've had them post for a domestic flight while I'm in the lounge - so the boarding pass has never even been scanned. It appears to not be tied to actually boarding a flight any longer, just being checked by the appropriate time.

My recent flights have seen the normal inconsistency. Same day posting or 2-3 days later posting at the extremes.

Not really news, mine have always posted very quickly - sometimes already in account by the time the flight lands - when travelling on QF metal.

I've never had them post in less than 24 hours, not flown QF for 14 months though.

Points and SCs earn on QF flights in almost every case post to QFF very quickly. They'll post anytime between check in and the flight landing. If points/SC earnt on a QF operated and coded flight haven't posted by the time the flight arrives, there is something wrong.

Earn from partners can take anywhere from 1 day to 3 months, depending on the partner involved and the timing of the earn.

Yes it did, however the glitches as of late have slowed the process down.

That's what I found as well, was quite strange seeing the points in my account before I'd even left.

Yeah, that never used to happen for me. Later that evening was the earliest, but usually not the same day. They must know who you are

In the 17 years since joining QFF (and almost 28,000 LTSC earned), I can only recall one or two occasions where a QF flight had credited to my account when I had checked a short time after arrival.

I had an AA flight post to Qantas by the next day. I was dumbfounded, since i've had to fight about UL, QR and J* flights recently.

For me it used to be very late that night or by the next morning (for domestic flights) but now I’ve see the SCs and points post before the plane pulls back.

How do you know? are you checking your qantas account fervently?
