Gift vouchers aside, I am not sure anyone has been getting DSC since the upgrade ...

So the difference is between "make a new booking on an eligible flight" or "make a new eligible flight booking"?

Sounds the same to me. Either way the terms and conditions at the time of registering are the relevant terms and conditions.

Maybe you'll get them, but you'd be hard pressed to argue that buying a voucher is the same thing as booking a flight.

Agreed not the same as booking flight but I can argue my booking was created during the promotion period.

Why is this any different to creating a PNR with a travel agent with zero or 1 flight and then adding flights to the booking later before ticketing?

Is this another case of information being fine to blab about as long as it doesn't impact you personally?

Rather than post another thread - does anyone have a rough guesstimation on when the next DSC offer would be? Looking at booking a few legs soon but wouldn't want to miss an opportunity

Usually February/March, but they sometimes target 50% bonus offers in the latter half of the year.

Last year there was a targeted Double Status Credits Promo in September. They may/may not decide to do another one this year and even if they do you may not be targeted.

QF does like to do the promos at a little different times each year. They like to keep the timing a surprise for obvious reasons.

I'd like to get the sign up bonus for a new credit card doing DSC bookings but not knowing the timing would make that difficult.

I played call centre bingo tonight chasing DSC's from a four sector trip where the first sector posted T+2, but the remaining three are missing.

I'd waited the 6 weeks stated in the T&Cs (plus an additional week while the IT issues went on).

I gave the CSA the requested details - all sectors were domestic. After a short hold she came back and advised the PNR showed us as a trip from London to Washington.o_O I've never even flown to Washington!

She then mentioned the IT woes are not resolved and they're getting lots of calls for missing DSCs.

Long story short: "The DSCs will be credited to your account in three to five days."

When I asked for a SRN in case I need to follow up she instead she gave me her employee number.

On the plus side she said "will be credited".

My level of confidence is low, but she clearly confirmed they will credit. Here's hoping I don't have to make them pull the tape.
Turns out I was right to be cynical.

Time for a refresher on the finer points of KF. Must check out that AFF Solutions webinar!

I'm just beside myself that I missed out on the double status credits promo. Do they come around at-least once a year or?

I haven’t got any since upgrade :( I think they can now clearly see in their system who qualifies (or doesn’t)
No they can’t. Since the IT upgrade they aren’t posting for flights booked during the promo period.
I’m guessing if you don’t give them to anyone then that kinda solves your gift voucher problem :p

Well that’s good they can’t see.

Everything I’ve booked is through PNRs created by me during promo but flights were booked at a later date.. and everything before IT updated posted DSC, but now I’ve got nothing

I've flown two itineraries since the IT upgrade: one booking in the DSC week (albeit via Amex), and one GV. Neither has posted DSCs.

Me also 4 more flights booked in promotion time frame back in Feb flown over past 10 days No SC or DSC yet. Probably have to wait 6-8 weeks then provide proof, booking number and copy of boarding passes. Nice IT upgrade

I got the original SCs on mine. In fact, by the time I'd got off the plane they'd arrived – far quicker than the usual few hours.

I had DSCs post overnight from my 30 April trip (booked regularly). No sign of GV postings though (though that flight was only on Wednesday).

I wonder if other people has old flights post overnight too?
