Ok what will they think of next is what I was thinking.
Valet parking when you stop on Lincoln (just north of LAX) to buy weed.
Apparently it is now legal in California.
I didn’t stop. It is north of IN-N-OUT.

we are planning to go - the purists have been knocking it, as too lowbrow for the NGA, but I am looking forward to it :)
I was looking at tickets last night for this exehibition. Will be in Canberra 22-24 June, but looks like you don't have to pre-purchase tickets.
5 years of working for Angus & Coote / Dunklings many years ago, still remember my 4C's.

Yes, that was a ridiculous article in the CT I thought. To say jewellery didn’t qualify as art so shouldn’t be exhibited in the gallery was way off the mark.
Art. We ventured into other halls yesterday and on one huge wall was a deconstructed car. All the bits were wrapped in white netting and were ‘artitstically’ displayed across the entire wall. Art? That looked like our backyard when the young un was doing his car thing. I’d rather see jewelery.

Just discovered that someone I met in my travels died unexpectedly late last year. Wondered why they hadn't been commenting on my facebook posts and discovered the news :(

you should be pretty safe - it’s not one of the block buster exhibitions. They are a nightmare to go to with timed tickets :)

Oh dear. A few challenges there indeed. No driving too! Will that change as you continue to recover?

No driving for a long time. Another round of testing this morning with lots of homework. Recovering from a MVA is a full time job

This is so scary. Everyone thinks about the death toll, of course, but the recovery from serious injury barely raises a blip on the radar. Takes just a moment for things to change for a very long time. Best wishes, as it sounds like you still have a way to go :(

When your idiot husband has a over inflated belief in vitamins.

Not feeling well today. Could have something to do with the 49 vitamins he had in less than 2 days, when the bottle says one per day. Yes I counted them and rammed home that statistic. Idiot.

Oh. And got a phone call that 84yr mum in law fell and broke leg over night. :(

Not a believer in vitamin supplements generally.
Hope you MIL will be OK. A worry when you can't be there to see how things are.

Oh. That’s awful when you are away.

Vitamin supplements. If you would believe them then we should be taking around a hundred different ones a day.

Sorry Denali, can't "like" that! Not good with the leg... :( You are both home soon, aren't you?

I often tell him we must have the healthiest sewers in the street.

Mum in law in hospital. Typical in law family. Brother in Sydney phoned his wife in San Francisco who texted us in Scotland and hubby phoned brother directly.

She fell yesterday, so took about 30hrs to tell us. Not that we would change flights as we leave tomorrow anyway and she's being cared for.

You mean it’s almost over? We had similar issue with my mum. She had a stroke. We were in Santorini. Family decided not to say anything as it would take as long to get back. Told the Council not to contact me as I hadn’t heard. They couldn’t help themselves. They rang me at 4am my time to see if she was home from hospital. What hospital. God I hate Councils.
