Looking to try and redeem a QF business class reward ticket for 2 in March/April 2019 to either Narita or Haneda from Melbourne and there is some availability on CX from both Melbourne and Sydney but zero from QF and have checked all day from 10.00am....Does anyone know why I cant see any QF availability ? ....And both my wife and I are WP

Japan is a popular route and Mar/ Apr is normally around school holidays it is also cheery blossom season so flights are at a premium. Have you tried requesting seats to be released.

Havent requested seats yet as the dates havent lined up yet but was just trying to get a feel for the pattern of availability....your reasoning is sound...thanks
