I haven't done a hill start in 20yrs because my car has a hill stop feature.

My worry is that we have 1 car without driver assists.

I’ve put in an aftermarket reverse camera but no hillstart assist. I hope the kids remember that little fact and drive accordingly

Ok some inane bit of trivia:

It’s very important to get it in the right order when vomiting underwater scuba diving.

Breathe in
Take out regulator
Chuck
Put in regulator then repeat

Vomiting almost always involve a bit of breathing in prior. Don’t do that after regulator is removed. Some say chuck into regulator but I’m not sure what would happen if some chunky bits jam it
You don't purge while vomiting?

Because the instinct is to breath in immediately after vomit, hence the purge bubble.

Well if you chuck after removing regulator don’t have to purge.

But yes prior to and immediately after vomiting regulator is in.

I used to attract a lot of fish but gave it up as the seasickness meds made my mouth very dry (plus dry air of scuba which was very uncomfortable) and drowsy.

Well if you chuck after removing regulator don’t have to purge.
But if you don't have reg cleared and in place immediately after vomit, you're going to get a mouth full of sea water... panic... die.

Its instinctive to take a breath in after vomiting.

Yeah. My husband sometimes jokes about how much $ there will be if he's gone but same answer each time, I prefer to have him.

Not that I don't think about it occasionally :D
What about if we offered you his weight in chocolates? Tempting? :p

Yes but I didn’t chuck through regulator, I removed regulator while chucking. And regulator always back in pronto. I make sure though that I held on to regulator while this was happening

Scary

So the auto driving uber with the distracted safety driver that hit a pedestrian.

Her job is to just sit in the driver's seat?
I take it you haven’t seen the footage from the car? Even a fully in control car with a driver would have hit the woman. She appeared out of a shadow and not on a crossing. They’ve said it would have been impossible not to hit her.

Yes, but the driverless car doesn't rely on visual seeing, so shadows shouldn't matter? I haven't seen the external footage, only the vision of the person in the drivers seat, not paying attention.

Yes - see above posts. There was no way out because of all that Robert Burns ceremony that preceded it. Terrible stuff. The Neeps and Tatts didn’t dilute it at all.
Made the whisky take awful
Need a good smokey Islay, or three I suggest!
