Finally spoke with our builder, we're waiting on developer approval before things move to the next step. They have to approve our facade design/colours etc. Then it goes to the council for building permits. All going to plan we should start building end of March or start of April.

Seeing something finally happen will be so exciting. Before then though I want to go and stain the back fence so it doesnt weather to that greyish colour that timber fences usually end up.

Sometimes grey blends into the background though so you don’t ‘see’ it as much.

Purchased our first "big" furniture item today; an entertainment unit from Freedom. The Amex offer was well timed and they had no issue splitting it over several CCs (and the gift card we got for our wedding).
 
Discovered we paid the full whack of stamp duty because the conveyancer didnt arrange the first home buyer concession paperwork. Now to unravel the mess and get a refund.
