Hi all,

Trying to book some flights on aa.com and when I get to passenger details page I keep getting the error "Name and account number don’t match. Please try again." My name and Qantas FF are completely correct so not sure why it is doing this?

Anyone know how to get around this error?

Tried my wife QFF number and name with same error resulting. Also tried without middle name and middle initial.

Thanks!

(Note: I changed it to 000000 for screenshot purposes)

Can't you just leave it blank and enter it later?
Also, have you tried no middle name?

Presumably it would do the same validation even later after booking.

I have had this once or twice - I just call to get it added (the Oz AA number is pretty responsive) and the agent has been able to enter it.

Thanks for confirming will give it go.

I think I got around this by going to Finnair (manage booking function) to clear all fields and enter the number again.

Do you have a 6 digit FF number? Add a zero to the front - it worked for me on my flight last year.

I had exactly the same problem - ended up just booking through Amex travel for the same cost. Number entered there just fine!
