Hi All,

QF WP flying EK (404 - so late evening departure) on QF Codeshare ... which is the better lounge option?

Regards,

Why not visit both the QF lounge and EK lounge? I wouldn't touch the QF lounge before 19:30 though (once QF flights to MEL and BNE have boarded it becomes a much more pleasant place to be.

Won't you have time to do both QF and EK lounges?

EK lounge could be the better choice depending on what you want. A little boring but better food and pour your own drinks.

I went to both a few weeks back P1 traveling on same flight as OP went to both but ended up in the EK lounge for most of the time. You can stop by the QF lounge, just a detour upstairs, on the way to EK.

IMO nothing wrong with the QF lounge, the EK lounge was not as busy.

Spent 45 minutes in the EK lounge last night doing the EK404 transit.

Even if the QF lounge had been closer to the gate I still would have only used the EK Lounge.

As an aside, what time does the EK lounge open in the evenings these days?
