Not in PER however...
That is probably more of an oversight more than anything though.

Agreed.Does it matter? If they served the better food and drink choices there is no disadvantage to you, just an advantage to other non-business travellers.
I wonder what the likelihood is that Qantas would close a Chairmans Lounge, with its comparatively significantly greater footprint per member, if there were only a handful of CL members passing through and directed them instead to the J lounge. I expect that would cause some serious outrage.

Really, do you have proof on this? If so, can you please share as I would LOVE to show my employer ;-)No company in the history of capitalism ever ‘saved’ themselves to profit in the long term.
I assume it won't stay that quiet for long???7pm Saturday evening in PER, 5 QF/JQ flights to depart in next 4 hours.
QP closed, redirected to J lounge , my first experience of it .
Grand total of 7 of us here.

That will help. Still, interested to hear if it does get (over)crowded.Only 738’s on tonight by the looks of it, wouldn’t be as busy as a normal weekday night.
Numbers peaked around a comfortable 100 or so prior to imminent boarding of the east coast bound flightsThat will help. Still, interested to hear if it does get (over)crowded.
