BNE Epiqure wine event 16th September

I'm not sure if this thread should be here or in a more "social" section. (Maybe mods will move if required)
In any event Mrs GPH and I are attending the BNE Epiquire event in today. I know of a few other AFF'rs heading down to the Light Space in the valley, so hope to see a few of you there.
Looks like it could be a fun day full of wine tasting and food sampling.

Had a nice afternoon. Caught up with some of the local AFF crowd.
Nice food, and a good range of wines.

Considered it but had the flu ultimately so I’m glad I didn’t buy a ticket.

I decided not to do any of the Master classes, and with the number of wines on offer, i couldn't get around to all of them

I had such a powerful hangover that I was unable to manage more than a Sidecar coughtail. What a waste! At least the snacks helped and I rallied for a great evening at Les Bubbles afterwards!

Interesting to know as I’d have probably booked 1 or 2 had I gone and been disappointed.
