Interesting offering, although very hard to get value out of a $65 visit.

Interesting that they only offer a lounge in MEL, whereas in most other locations it's a meet-and-greet service. Perhaps this will come with time?

Having just done a dummy booking, it appears you can select 4 or 8 hours (just doubles the price).

Guests flying with partner airlines JAL, Xianen and Tianjin will be granted complimentary access into the lounge, and even more airlines are expected to join that list by the end of the year.

Just got to hope those airlines don't all leave at the same time (and any more that join) otherwise I'm sure it'll fill up quick and be even less valuable.

Is this destined to be a PP Lounge? (Not showing in PP at the moment.)

I believe it's the old EK lounge space adjacent to the Qantas First lounge - that's reasonably large.

nice. I don't think I will ever use it unless an airline/cc is paying for it. But we'll go from no 3rd party lounges to 2 very soon.

However, I have really been enjoying the EY lounge access on VA flights lately. I hope VA don't enhance it and give us this one instead.

Confirmed; we saw it when we visited the QF F lounge on Friday. It appeared to already be open too.

Was in there for a short time last saturday night before JL774. Reminded me of the NRT QF lounge or SIN SATS lounge.

Flying out of MEL in 3 weeks, hope this broncos a Priority Pass lounge by then... chance is slim though :(
