I was in Canberra last week and noticed many places have CC surcharges. There was a sushi place near work that charged 40c flat for MC/Visa and 2.5% for Amex. I chose Amex as it worked out to <40c and I got 3 points/$.

Cancelled my prestige recently. I'll log in to check if simplicity has an offer and report back if it does. Looks like the era of 0% BT is over with westpac also offering 2.99%. Had a few goes at 0% in previous years.

So got an offer of 6 month balance transfer at 0%...... Cannot see any bt fee......
Anyone else get this offer?

I got an offer via email 9 months at 0% though with 2% BT fee

So got an offer of 6 month balance transfer at 0%

Has beginning a sentence with a completely redundant "So" become the new "like"? I've noticed this of late getting worse and worse. It started a while ago but it wasn't bad enough to warrant commenting on. It seemed to be only used verbally, but now it appears to be pervading written communication too. If it replaces 'like' then I'm all for it. But if it's in addition to, then god help the English language.
