Hi Qantas offered 25% extra points for transferring points across to it from your credit card. did this before the due date, Qantas accepted these but did not give any extra points. they are not answering querries or emails. was this a scam on their part?

have copy of their offer, they accepted the points [without bonus] but have been unable to get any answer or reply from them since.

Again, do you have a copy of the T&C's? This may give you the answer as to if there may be a lag for the bonus points to credit?

Quite often with promotions and offers you receive the bonus at a later stage ie upto 6 weeks later.
I don't think the statement "was this a scam on their part?" is needed

What do you mean by T&C?, this was about 5-6 weeks ago and my main worry is that Qantas is not answering my emails or questions even though the points show up for

Every time an offer of any type is made they list down the T&C of the offer.

Did you keep a copy of those?

"not answering my emails or questions" How are you asking the questions, have you tried live chat?

Assume now you might mean "'terms and conditions'' instead of a Qantas code, yes have a copy and they were that 25% was offered for points transfer of 350,000 points or above, 30% for 1 million or more. Due date was between 1st to 31st of March and more than 350,000 points were transferred towards end but before end of March so over six weeks now.
cheers E

Yes T&C's stands for Terms and Conditions.

QF generally have a 6-8 week clause in their T&C's with promotions like this one

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I would imagine the T&C's went into a little more detail. If you received them electronically, posting them in full here may yield a better result as a member may spot the line or sentence you have overlooked. Paraphrasing doesn't help as we haven't seen the T&C's ourselves so can't say for sure what they say.

Yes, as the others have said, try to post a full copy of the T&C's (terms and conditions). If you have them from an email, try and highlight the full lot and right click, then COPY. Open a reply here, right click again and PASTE. Alternatively take a screen shot of them and paste them into a reply here.

(i'm not an IT wizard others may correct me if I am wrong)

Going back to my other post and also one from another helpful member, allow a good 6-8 weeks for things to post to your account
