Qantas Wine latest offering

Teusner 'The Dog Strangler' Mataro looks pretty good value at $19 a bottle, no points bonus though

I just bought a case of D'arrys Original 2013 for $199 including delivery. Actually works out almost $3 per bottle cheaper than Dan Murphy's for a good drop that I like. Plus there are 6000 bonus points with it. Easy!

I just did the same - spur of the moment as I (finally) selected my free gift (for hitting P1). Good deal I reckon.

Ditto case purchased last night. Total of 7152 points (includes Amex card points)

Yeah I was wondering about that: do the bonus points count for the double points promo?

In the mail I received Epiqure was the first example cited of how to earn. No obvious reason to assume that bonus Epiqure points would be treated differently to base ones, unless I'm missing something obvious.

Just received the latest email for Oliver's Taranga Mixed 6 at $25 + 5,000 bonus points; also individual cases at same price & bonus points.

Don't know them myself. Anyone tried these and are they good value?

Bloody hell my heart skipped a beat when I saw this receipt ... I honestly thought for a second that I hadn't typed 1 in the quantity box (rather it's 112 cases)

Is the Tempranillo any good?

Yes, really lovely early drinking style. Just the right amount of gamey, savoury and young fruit flavours. Campbell Mattinson gave the 2015 a v good review. Bought a case on spec for my better half who prefers Pinot Noir when it comes to reds and she loves it, partially as it has so few tannins. Just ordered another two cases. They won't last the winter (probably won't last autumn....)

Basalt, I think the latter is much more likely ;). In my household as the sole red drinker, they may last until winter, when the bigger Shiraz and Cab Sauvignon will take over
