Two more family members received the mail outs from Woolworths Rewards with the 8 week offers.
One offer had $50 per week with a maximum of 15,000 points and the other was for $65 per week with a maximum of 24,000 points. I think I'll put aside the $80 target offer I was contemplating for the next 2 weeks and use either the $50 offer or the $65 offer. There was also a one off bonus of 500 points for each account for registering for emails.
The offers our family has to choose from are as follows:
All percentage returns are based on the Woolworths dollars conversion of $10 for 2000 points. The points earned will be progressively used during the promotion.
$40 per week, maximum of 15,000 points over 8 weeks, $320 total spend, $75 worth of points, percentage return 23.44%
$50 per week, maximum of 15,000 points over 8 weeks, $400 total spend, $75 worth of points, percentage return 18.75%
$65 per week, maximum of 24,000 points over 8 weeks, $520 total spend, $120 worth of points, percentage return 23.08%
$80 per week, maximum of 24,000 points over 8 weeks, $640 total spend, $120 worth of points, percentage return 18.75%
At this stage we'll be taking up the $40 offer for the whole 8 weeks. We'll probably take up the $65 offer for the first 4 weeks and then decide from there what we need to spend later. I wouldn't normally spend over $100 at Woolworths for that length of time but we have a couple of special functions coming up in the next month so it might make sense. The fact that we can split the shopping between 2 transactions gives us a chance to top up on fresh goods as needed rather than buying a whole weeks worth in one go.
I'd better stock up on discounted Wish Cards.
