Qantas Red Planet

I was screened out after the first question page. I guess unless you're a CxO or in HR they don't want to hear from you even if your employer has an HRIS in place... At least I got a 'bonus entry' in the 'draw'...

After reading the "Scams Like These" threads, the Qantas Cash email looked a bit like a scam. They had my QFF number but I wasn't really sure about it. I completed it and once I did it went back to the Qantas Points web page so I am guessing it was real.

Got the same one. They won't like my comments on the (un)usefulness of QF Cash. Especially when I can get a far better exchange rate (and no fees) at the ATMs with the debit card.

Also I suppose I could have noted that some of us don't really take round trips. Rather more wandering

Fred

Just completed - " Project Health" worth 200 QFF points.

An an interesting and quite a different survey ( compared to other red planet surveys anyway) on consumer perceptions and the level of influence in the decision making process when it comes to choosing Aged care facilities for their loved ones.

Took a bit longer than the advertised 20 minutes to complete though.;)

Had a similar survey to that from a different modb, was screened out as soon as I said both parents were deceased... Think it's for some aged care company looking for leads.

Ah yes .

The last set of questions discussed one particular brand/provider of aged care facilities and their brand values in great detail.

I completed an insurance survey for 300 points last night. A bit long... and I am sure some of the questions were asked twice.

Just got an email for my first survey since Nov 16 and previous to that, in 4 surveys back to August, I wasn't a match...

It's "Nest Tracker". Hmmm, interesting name. Ended up being about buying groceries and telling them when last I bought a range of products.

No surprise, I didn't fit their ideal respondee...I don't buy coffee products (at all) or chocolate, museli bars etc (very often)

Ka ching. Now I know who is using Qantas to access their database:

Just received an invite to do a survey with 250 points on offer. Accessed it through my iPad and got a message saying the device was not acceptable and requesting I log in on a desktop. Did so, and got a message saying I had already started and the survey can only be accessed once. I haven't been able to get a single point out of this thing since November due to system issues and not being a match; what's the point?

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

I did Project Ditch tonight for 100 points. First successful one since December.

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

I just got offered the Project Supply survey about 15 mins ago.

Needless to say, the result was:
Thank you for being willing to share your opinions with us today. Unfortunately the quota for this particular survey has now been filled

But they have my data. I wonder if I start playing with them by telling alternative facts ;)

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

I got one a few days ago "UX Test" - it said it had to be done on a desktop and I was in a tablet. Next day I logged in to do it and it said it couldn't be done on a desktop - only a smart phone (Iphone/Android). I logged in on an Iphone and it only had the option to resume the survey (that I hadn't started), and when I did, it said my device wasn't eligible.

How gullible am I for wasting so much time with Red Planet - I guess that is what they were trying to measure

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

Just screened out of 'project supply' because we don't receive a gas bill... Appears that they're not interested in those who do use gas but of the cylinder variety. They also left out Moreton Bay RC in the list of SE Qld councils...

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

... so ... when are you off to Northland?
All I said was I had heard of it!

And they asked me if I had seen various ads on FaceBook. Had to sit through them before saying no. Considering I don't do FaceBook I already knew the answer without watching! So they just got a heap of false negatives from me.

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

Just completed a survey called " SC3 Tracker", which was Banking & insurance related.
Nice to earn 300 QFF points, although yet again, the survey took a lot longer than the advertised 30 minutes to complete. (More like 45 minutes)

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

I managed to get into a survey about a proposed development on The Spit (near Palazzo Versace, Seaworld, Sheraton Mirage) here on the GC. Was quite a good survey and I had genuine comments to add for once. Even better... I got some points for my thoughts.

Re: Red planet research - online surveys for QFF points

Just invited to participate in a new survey (first for a while) by the name of 'Project Pay B' regarding business payments received via online means, with 200 points on offer
.. Didn't make the cut unfortunately and booted out after a couple of preliminary responses.

I think I know what that is. If I'm right, I'm not allowed to talk about it :(.
