Which Itinerary Will Maximise QFF Lifetime Credits?

I'm planning to travel to a few countries in Europe in August of 2017. After requesting some quotes, I was offered the following 3 options.


Sydney to Prague, then Copenhagen to Sydney


1. British Airways – via London
2. Emirates (Qantas codeshare) – via Dubai
3. Cathay Pacific and Finnair – via Hong Kong and Helsinki


I am currently a Lifetime Silver QFF and have less than 3000 lifetime credits to accumulate before reaching Lifetime Gold, so for me, this is a goal worth chasing.


Which one of the 3 options will give me the most lifetime credits? I'll be booking economy travel for the round trip although I don't know what cabin class my travel agent will book.

There are calculators for this on the QF website, but a rough guess would be 2.

I agree with Abdul - in the absense of more info a flight on QF code is the way to go

Number 2 for sure but go the SC calculator at Qantas.com and you can plug in actual flight details.

But I think option 2 is your winner.

May I suggest you get a finnair quote - you have to travel via HEL but the SC you miss on Asia to Europe are somewhat covered by within Europe trip. May not work for you but now my preferred Europe option in J for points and SC -v- $.
