Nowhere in the world is Global Warming having a more devastating affect on the environment than on the icefields / glaciers of the Rocky Mountains!

Yesterday I posted this pic of Cruiserette and myself taking in the wonderful experience of actually walking / playing on a glacier whose base has existed since the ice age:



Today we returned to the exact same location to witness first hand the devastation of this fragile environment where a 500 year old glacier can virtually disappear overnight!



Such stark difference is almost beyond belief is it not?

And I ask you - where would you prefer to be - in some dingy dodgy suburban pub in Melbourne waiting for penegal or Tommy to buy you are beer or here in Santa Monica with the beautiful people overlooking Santa Monica pier whilst sipping chilled refreshing coughtails enjoyed in open air fanned by gentle sea breezes?



Off to Venice Beach tomorrow to conduct some body building courses!
