Hello QF Business class experts.

QF 072 on 21/09 is virtually empty in the J cabin (Tele sales have confirmed this) but they are only selling Fully Flex J fares. At $2700 a pop!

Is there any way you know of to request / get access to a D class business saver fare?

Do they take requests?

Qantas Frequent Flyer told me someone at reservations should help me out in a request, but the people at reservations on 131211 have been either dismissive or very grumpy to be asked.

Any advice?

This date (21/09) is right between the SIN F1 GP the weekend before and the start of the WA school holidays the weekend after. PER-SIN v.v is very busy around this time and I would say QF are looking to gouge if they can.

As QF72 is a 73H, book a Flex Y seat and buy a nice dinner with the more than AUD1000 in savings. You could even book a 'comfort' seat as well....

However, I book at the other end of the spectrum for the same route... http://www.australianfrequentflyer....al-airfares/per-sin-3k-aud178-20-a-75217.html
