Due to upcoming devaluation of Citibank Rewards Points transfer rate to Singapore Airlines and Velocity Frequent Flyer it has been mooted that this is certainly high time for a communal 'Think Tank' to canvass ALL scenarios of transfer possibilities to available partners.

With this in mind I would like to propose that interested AFF members gather at a suitable location to fully discuss this specific topic. Said gathering open to ALL AFF members with a vested interest. Initially selection of a suitable date to discuss this matter requires consideration - hence the initial poll on suitable date.

Oh what bad timing - I am seriously tied up on all 3 of these days - but I may be able to make it very late on Friday March 11 if there is any chance of movement of date.

Well for me it is a choice between transferring to KF or VA.

So where is VA better than KF? Better can be:
* Cheaper points
* similar points but cheaper fees
* More convenient routing

Lately I have been favouring Europe and KF is excellent despite the fuel fine cost.

However I did move points to VA when a points special was on and redeeming through VA on Eitihad to fly MEL-NBO was an economical convenenient way to get to Africa. Fees were only $57 pp.

I switched a pile over to VA as our Kris accounts are all pretty full despite repeated family raids.

Yep have had advice from the God Like Figures here at AFF (read Mods) and no I can't add a second poll - and nope I do not want to confuse Tommy. ric_melb or tuapekastar by starting another thread - so alternatives will be posted here sometime later today.
