Hi all,

TG (Singapore homepage) caught my attention with a SIN-BKK-FCO promo for economy SGD380 RETURN excl taxes. All in its about ~$1000.

due to the booking class, apparently this can only be booked thru their website directly as it does not appear to be loaded into the standard GDS. This very fact also prevents me from looking for a 3X although I'm not quite giving up yet :)

other good fares in there if you have a squizz...

SIN-FCO for AUD1000 is ok, but not great. EY is offering return for AUD933. Couple of other carriers in the same ball-park.

I must admit I'd prefer to be in Y on EY rather than TG too.

These level of fares from SIN-Europe are very common amongst a range of carriers, including QR, KL, AF, MH and EK amongst others. Even LH is often in this order of magnitude. The main exception is of course SQ - and it is also rare that you see BA offering these sorts of fares.
