Hi! I'm hoping to get some advice on our upcoming trip. We are flying to Europe with Qantas, but some of the trip is operated by Emirates. My husband, myself and our toddler are travelling together economy class, and we were thinking it would be nice to get lounge access to make the trip easier on us. Does anyone have experience with getting into the Emirates lounge in Dubai? We know that our toddler is classed as a 'guest' even though he is only 1 so only having one Qantas Club Membership wouldn't be sufficient. We were going to try to use my husband's Qantas Club membership with our son as his guest, and I was going to try to use a Qantas Club Complimentary Guest Pass. Does anyone know if they accept the Qantas Club Complimentary Guest Passes at the Emirates Lounge in Dubai? I did ring them and they said they would just let our son in, but that goes against what their online policy says, so I'm really confused.
Thanks for your help.

Or take in one guest and then a little while later take in another guest?

Does not really work when one of the guests is 1 year old.

@bristraveller: You can only try, but I expect you would not be allowed in. There is a pay-per-access lounge in Dubai (the "marhaba lounge"), maybe this would be an option.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I think that both myself and my husband will need to become members to make sure we can all get into the Emirates lounge. Otherwise we can go to the Marhaba lounge which I have pricing for as well.
