no one kept up with us on the winding roads around Spey and on Skye. In Spain ordered a one series from Sixt and was dreading a Seat. Got an A class. Good for touring small towns, autopark, and comfortable at 140 on autopistas. Averaged around 5l/100km over 1100km for trip. Just over one tankful. Your beast would probably have had to have a tanker in tow?
Liked La Rioja. Think I'll plan another trip but spend longer in the region next time. Brilliant scenery in October, almost better than Canada in Autumn. Some morning fogs added to the 'nice' mountains surrounding the valley.
