Does MH offer any award seats through QF/OW?

I've noticed that I can find award seats on most OW airlines - QF, CX, AY, IB & QR to name a few.
However I've never found an award seat on MH, even looking at flights to or fom KUL.
Do they not offer them?
Do they not show up online because of their incompatible booking system?

Don't think MH is online.. Need to call.
Given lack of a number of airlines online, I would always call

From memory the have good availability (certainly do to BA exec club members, that I think is same availability that QFF sees). Just no availability online . Join up BA exec club if not a member already (and if you aren't going to ever use for accrual the tip is to mistakingly enter Austria as home country, or a relatives address outside SW Pacific) and you can narrow down choices online before calling QFF.

Thanks for the tips.
I'm already an MH Enrich member so I can see the availability to their own FFs.
I will see if that is a guide to QFF availability before I sign up to BA Exec.

Again from memory MH Enrich sees more availability than BA. But worth checking before bothering to join BA. Unfortunately AA is like QF doesn't seem to show MH availability online, otherwise it would be ideal as you don't even need to join up.

Yes I discovered I was already a BA member so I've already discovered they see fewer seats than Enrich members. Will report back on what QF can see.

For the record what shows as available on the BA site is not necessarily available through QF.
As I just discovered. To my cost.

On two separate occasions I've secured Asia to Australia in J with MH but this was pre their dark days.

I've just come back from a trip to India flying in J on MH using QFF points. As noted above, you need to phone the QF call centre to book. The MH taxes/surcharges in J are excessive; indeed more than the cost of a discounted economy fare generally (I paid over $900 in taxes/surcharges). I found the overall experience with MH fairly ordinary with the satay entrees the only redeeming feature. I was on clapped-out A330s and B737s for the four sectors; perhaps things are a bit more comfortable on other equipment.

I think you will find the $900 in taxes and surcharges is QF originated and not MH if booking using QF points.

I don't think so. I had the alternative OneWorld routing via HKG on CX priced at under $300 (but 20,000 or so more points) but couldn't get seats on the dates I needed.

Fuel fines on sectors into/out of HKG are regulated so would be cheaper irrespective. $900 fuel surcharge on MH sounds about right for return trip to India in biz, unless redeeming using AA miles. So it's a bit of both QF and MH (for example AA do not charge fuel fines on many partner redemptions).

A MH J award on MH to europe was $480 co-pay earlier this year. MH award Australia to asia was $230 co-pay. I'd say a big part of the $900 was QF tax.

My understanding was that Enrich members have much more reward availability than OW partners as they book into different classes (I was able to book business for my family of 6 with Enrich points earlier this year). Agree co-pay quite high on MH. Remember also that the AUD has fallen a fair bit over the last 9 months which will affect all taxes paid
