I have a QFi flight for next month which was booked on the 11th Feb and e-ticket issued and received same day. Paid by Credit card. This sort of issuance timing is normal for my flights
Flights were booked about ~5 weeks ago using a gift voucher and Jetstar credit card.
If relevant,
Purchased $5K of QF vouchers last Xmas and purchased ~$1K of tickets for a Broome trip.
QF didn't issue a new voucher for the residual, had to speak to support a few times and about 7 days later given a voucher id over the phone.
Went to book the flight online but had issues, spoke to support and they managed to book the trip for me using GV and CC
I can see the flights in both our QF logins and have made successful seat selections.
I had a similar problem recently with QFi flights booked using a gift voucher for partial payment. I had also selected seats already, but ticket had not been issued.
After about 3 days I rang QF, who said the booking for some reason had been flagged for manual processing. The lady was able to complete the ticketing process within about two minutes while I stayed on the line.
In my case, the first thing the lady on the phone checked was whether or not it was a "legitimate" fare. (It was a $599 return fare to HKG during the flash sale.)
