First time in 4 years flying internationally with QFi, when do they issue the e-ticket?

Flights booked for 24th December and we haven't received yet, whilst our domestic ones we have

When did you book, and did you pay by credit card or BPay (or another method)?

With credit card payments, it's usually within about an hour. For BPay it could take a couple of days.

I have a QFi flight for next month which was booked on the 11th Feb and e-ticket issued and received same day. Paid by Credit card. This sort of issuance timing is normal for my flights

Flights were booked about ~5 weeks ago using a gift voucher and Jetstar credit card.

If relevant,

Purchased $5K of QF vouchers last Xmas and purchased ~$1K of tickets for a Broome trip.
QF didn't issue a new voucher for the residual, had to speak to support a few times and about 7 days later given a voucher id over the phone.

Went to book the flight online but had issues, spoke to support and they managed to book the trip for me using GV and CC

I can see the flights in both our QF logins and have made successful seat selections.

I had a similar problem recently with QFi flights booked using a gift voucher for partial payment. I had also selected seats already, but ticket had not been issued.

After about 3 days I rang QF, who said the booking for some reason had been flagged for manual processing. The lady was able to complete the ticketing process within about two minutes while I stayed on the line.

I would give QF a call.

Will do, iirc it didn't appear in my bookings and when I rang they said it would once it had been manually processed

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

On the phone with them and they are having issues getting it ticketed ðŸ

Problem resolved took the support team a few escalations to get it issued. No reason given

A sale fare, I suggest the issue related to the gift voucher, but we will never know

In my case, the first thing the lady on the phone checked was whether or not it was a "legitimate" fare. (It was a $599 return fare to HKG during the flash sale.)

Yes, using vouchers often delays the issuance of the e-ticket. Just this week I had to call QF to get a ticket issued 20 hours after booking.
