It was only just discussed lunch time yesterday

So, will you tell me what was the result of the discussion?

We're not your personal assistants Mr/Ms 2 posts. It's documented for all to see if you could be bothered to read the last few pages of this thread.

HINT: All of mine are four and nine.

Great post. Not come across this site before. They have some good offers. Thanks for the great tips. Much appreciated.

Hey wozza, as I was going back to discern the cryptic clue about the w.a red, clues given something about four and nine by I can't remember, I found this.
In particular Hoddles creek pinot.
Now, over the years I have had a few of these and they are good. However, this is a segue into the pinot here being sold under a own label from a retailer in kew.
Whether this is apocryphal or not, I dunno. But it could be factual.
Piedemontes sells many white labelled wines.
Piedemontes may be owned in part by the Italian guy who owns Hoddles creek winery. Ah hum.
So they have sold some Yarra valley pinot before for about ten dollars. One or two years of this has been stunning so is it possible that the twenty bucker with a proprietary label is the same stuff Piedemontes sells for ten to twelve??
Who really knows, but it's a good story and once or twice the pinot has been extremely good.

Now back to trying to work how how the cryptic clues fit in to the w.a. wine.....clearly I have nothing better to do after watching jimi hocking play again.

now electrotek, I like the odd crptic, but all of mine is in four and nine......let the cat out of the bag with this beauty....

after reading this I am still bamboozled, perplexed and quite even puzzled.
Cabernet Sauvignon[h=2]VARIETAL BREAKDOWN[/h]Cabernet Sauvignon 92%, Other 8%
[h=2]REGION[/h]Margaret River 100%
[h=2]VINTAGE[/h]2010 was a cracking vintage with some of the most perfect conditions ever seen in Margaret River. Long, slow even ripening conditions lead to marvellous balance between the winemaking parameters of sugar, flavour, acid and secondary compounds such as tannins.

Sorry Mr/Ms 197 posts, if you can bother reading back my original post, you will see that I started by apologizing and explaining that I looked around (I did read the last few pages of this thread) but didn't find any mention of the 2010 Margaret River Cab Sav.

Maybe it there and I don't know why I didn't see. I don't know and I don't really care, what is obvious is that I completely missunderstood the purpose of this forum and that your way to welcome a 'newbie' is just making me ask myself: 'Do I want to chat about wine with those guys?'...

I guess I will now be Mr 3 posts for ever.

Enjoy your wines!

Jadranska the info was posted at the time Steady mentioned in this very thread, so armed with that info it really should not have been that hard to find. If you had another look & still couldn't find it just say so, we all sometimes go doh! how'd I not see that!

Anyone might know what this cab might be? It's restocked so I tried to search on this forum but couldn't come up with anything...

Many thanks in advance

Sandalford Estate Reserve - appeared last March.

Does anyone have any opinion on the Fox and Hound Shiraz VS Fox and Hound Shiraz Cabernet?

Whilst I purchased both I have only had the blend so far. If the straight Shiraz is anywhere near as good as I found the blend, you will not be disappointed. Don't forget the Fo return policy if you are not happy so you have nothing to lose.

A little support for Jadranksa
Reading through on my phone I missed it too
Found it on a second look
Interface is a bit messy and the discussion appears random at times
Loving this and murphy's forum discussions tho, great find

Just a suggestion, when posting/replying you can change the Title of the post (you may have to click the "Go Advanced" button).
If you do this and put in the name of the particular deal it might make things easier to find.
I've changed the title on this post as an example.

Jadranska, I was trying to be helpful by telling you how to find the info - two clicks of your mouse and a scroll and you had the answer you were seeking

(give a man a fish and feed him for a day - teach a man to fish.......)
