Eeek, not the place or way you want to break down. Hope the RAA were there swiftly.

I was home within 90 minutes.

But not before this (free)

And my view going home in the tow truck

MasterP has risen to the occasion. Spent the afternoon running around trying to get a part cheaply. First quote for parts was $350. He declined. He went back and forth to 7 places then found an guy who sold the hose for $10. Came home, installed the hose, flushed the radiator and refilled and all good. Except - the car is old and this was just a symptom.

MrP has been pressing me to upgrade for years. I've put it off.

Always liked the Alfa Guilletta but recently the Renault Megane (esp convertible :p) and Veloster turbo have taken my fancy.

I don't suppose you could convince the towie to stop at the chocolate shop just up on the left? For medicinal purposes, of course!

He was probably too busy looking at the massage joint on the right to notice the chocolate shop

Awesome - the feeling you have when all your debts are tax deductible, and you've just paid all of the interest in-advance

Nothing better than the tax refund coming - know the feeling well. September school holiday destination now needs to be chosen - because I'm going to need a break

I would say that most of Europe's advice would be to stay away from Renault / Peugeot / etc!

Glad I'm not the only one that saw that at first glance ;)

Hubby said last night that this weekend will be prep time for our 7 tax returns. There goes my kitchen bench space for several hours.
Think I will have to hire a movie to keep me occupied.

Our favourite tax refund is where we have paid too much in quarterlies on credit cards for frequent flyer points and then receive the refund into a bank account. That is the sweetest refund of all.

I should have a refund this year partly due to my short stint of unemployment. That can pay for next year's trip :D

Eeek, I hope they are all easy ones - I have taken to updating my tax spreadsheets monthly to keep up with my 2 returns - and I add a third next year with my new business. Thankfully, Mrs QF WP is the Financial Controller/Bookkeeper for our companies so I don't have to worry about that one.

May the refunds be large :D

Mine will be messy this year with four jobs and a business....

2 personal (mine/his) then 5 companies, then I guess the 2 kids come to dad to make sure all completed OK.
Usual cycle for us, the tax returns pay for the rates for the next year on the properties. I never seem to see any of the money.

Gee, the lounge chairs by the window/walkway at LAX QF First Lounge are comfy to sit in. And high enough to support my head.

That reminds me. Where did I put that shoebox? :D
