My SYD-PER or PER-SYD upgrade requests always seem to clear at the 24 hours mark, not sure if that is a magic number for any reason.

Thanks for all your help, the upgrade came through for my mums flight at the 24hr mark! New fitout as well, she will be happy!

Also is it just because she doesn't have QF status (CX Diamond instead) I can view on her seat map any more further than row 7?

Data point, my SYD-OOL points upgrade came through at about 7am this morning for my 1145 flight tomorrow.
