Hi all,

I think I read on the forum recently that one of the Credit Cards was going to start having travel insurance coverage for a supplementary card holder travelling by themselves? But I cannot find it now.

Did I imagine it, or can someone provide the link to the post/thread?

For all I know NAB Qantas Premium cards offer the same insurance policy to supplementary card holders travelling alone.

The NAB cardholder is defined as:
NAB cardholder’ means a permanent resident ofAustralia to whom NAB has issued a NAB Card and includes the primary cardholder and any additional cardholder to whom a NAB Card has been issued for use on the same account, unless otherwise stated.

And travel coverage is activated if:

a) You are a NAB cardholder; and
(b) Prior to the commencement of your overseas journey, you have paid a minimum of $500 in pre paid overseas transport costs (including travel by air, rail, road orwatercraft); and or accommodation costs; and or organised land tour costs all of which are inclusive of any charges, fees and or taxes (excluding foreign currency and traveller’s cheques) with your NAB Card;and
(c) Transacted in the following ways:– If using your NAB Credit Card – purchases using your credit card facility directly charged by the merchant
