Okay okay hello - Finally!!!

Realised that I joined this forum 4yrs ago and still I haven't said hello (ok so maybe i was helped by the "Hello platinum one day. It seems as though you haven't posted a message on our site yet. Post a message today, and become an active Australian Frequent Flyer member!")

in all honestly planned on saying hello when I was actually close to reaching WP and obviously close never came. 2015 will be the year I will get close or even attain WP, thanks to a career change that now has me flying regularly.

So hello everybody and hopefully one day will be next year!!!

For me, the closest I get to platinum will be the platinum blonde wig I will be wearing the to the AFF social dinner in Adelaide next month.

Funny you say that. I was only talking about it today with a friend. Since most of my flights will be domestic it would probably be more rewarding to attain both gold on QF and VA

I will however most likely still strive for platinum as the 100% points bonus would be very welcome as well as the status for the family int upgrades.... Shame the points bonus can't be twice as good as gold.

That sounds like a good plan.

The ratio of bonus points was better reflection of status at 50% -> 100%.
