I had a quick look at the email before heading to work, and couldn't see in the fine print whether sc's and points are being offered, or not.

Anyone had a chance to have a good look at them yet?

Its a normal sale, QF always offer points and SCs with paid fares, only exception but one that catches a lot out, QF codes on Jetstar metal, including most 3K services, where the class booked is not a points earner.

Sure that QF code on JK metal doesn't earn points and SC? I just priced up a MEL-PEN-MEL return. The 3K service doesn't earn points if booked on the QF website but the QF code on the 3K service does.



MEL-SIN-MEL is 60 SC each way and 5200 points according to the QF Points calculator.

edit: bah uploading picture didn't work as well as I wanted so it shrunk to the point no one can read it!

It will only earn points and status credits if booked into a few fare buckets, which of course the Qantas booking engine does not show:

Status Credits are earned on all eligible booking classes
Excluded:
* Qantas Points and Status Credits are not earned on Qantas Codeshare flights (ie with a QF flight number) operated by Jetstar Airline other than in booking classes of Y B H K or L (earn in L class is eligible only when travelling on a oneworld fare product)
^ Qantas flight segments booked in X U Z or P classes are eligible to earn Points and Status Credits only when booked as a part of a Qantas & Jetstar Any Seat Award for bookings created on or before 30 June 2014.
~ Qantas flight segments booked in Premium Economy T class will earn at the base rate of Flexible Economy.


The itin you posted above would appear to be booking into S class for 3K, so only the Aus-Singapore portion is earning SC and points.
