A new member who has recently retired after 50 yrs as a salaryman (but doing a little consultancy from time to time). I am a Qantas FF and lifetime gold after many years at Platinum, and I find the information on this forum very valuable and enjoyable. JohnK, thanks for the welcome, Lifetime Gold does seem to have its advantages already on a couple of trips MEL-ADL, MEL-AKL and upcoming MEL-ADL-ASP-MEL..........its a shame they did not have Lifetime Platinum after 14 yrs of > 250,000km/year. I have never been busier since retiring but now I am in control!
