After seeing some of the posts, it would be interesting to know how many are "our most valued members" in the scheme of things.

Mr BAM, you are ranked number 7,000,000 out of 8,000,000 on our most valued list.

Matt

A few had a peek at the sign in sheet last night in BNE and found it to be mainly P1 and CL.

Lucky door prizes were a voucher, points and Bose headphones, IIRC.

[TD]Got mine for Perth, interesting it came from the Aquire program membership. Bad week for me to make it down...will have to check diary...but at least I will get 50% status bonus if I go.

Dear Mr C,

As one of our most valued members, I truly appreciate your involvement in Aquire. To thank you, I would like to invite you to a coughtail function where I will share the latest program and business updates. The event will also give you the opportunity to meet with myself and members of my leadership team and ask us any questions you may have.
Thank you for your continued loyalty and support of both the Aquire and Qantas Frequent Flyer program.

Perth wow. That'll be an interesting meeting.

I guess I won't give up hope of a Darwin event just yet then.

Ahhh who am I kidding.

Didn't get an invite. Won't be in PER at the time anyway. And unless Lesley is going to tell us about the return of QFi to Perth, I wouldn't really be interested in attending.

Whilst I doubt that will be announced based on what has happened at the other events, I have heard whispers that are not all bad about QFi and PER in the same sentence. And I am sorry, but they are only whispers at this stage. I will keep my ears peeled!

Was pretty excited to see i got an e-mail invite for the event in Perth, but then looked at the date & I'm away in the USA until early november, bugger.

Hey codash1099 .... Have you reread that quote from Charles Darwin at the bottom of your post lately? LOL.

Danny ..... in the US for a holiday versus a two hour Qantas event. However much you like Q I'd go US!

Brought this up yesterday, more tongue in cheek than anything, and was told "If a route was profitable, Qantas would fly it"

For the NZ based:

At the CBR event one of the QF loyalty execs mentioned that they were off to Auckland as part of tour.

As mentioned in the CBR thread, Brian the Loyalty CFO said that soon it would be possible to pay for car hire with points.

As SQ421 was grilling him ;) he also said that working out how much QF priced fir a point "isn't hard" but didn't quote a figure, and wouldn't be drawn on the cost of points when they are sold wholesale to banks, etc.

In fact SQ421 did a fantastic job pressing Brian on a range of issues that are discussed on AFF. Hopefully he will post about this soon, I don't want to steal his thunder (any more).
