Any sign of the hot dog stand in the MEL or SYD QP of late?

More so the SYD QPd
I have an 18.00 flight coming up, dep SYDd for MELd. Anyone flown QF and used the QP of late who has seen the hot dog stand in the SYD QPd?
And yes, I know how busy the SYD QPd can be, have seen the scrum for the beef and cheese from the bain marie, ... probably worst if they bring out the hot dog.
Will be on a Sat, so if the hot dog appears, the QP kids will jump onto it.00Plan to use 11am ADL to SYD VAd, 11.00 arr 13.25, fluff around somewhere, get to QPd at 16.30pm to 17.30
MELd to ADLd dep 10.10, so most likely no hot dog to try for the QP in MEL that early.

IIRC they were introduced for a short period (a few days) to mark the opening of the new lounge in America. I didn't think they were supposed to be a permanent feature?

Thank goodness. Hot dogs are hardly suitable lounge food. I like to be able to identify the food I eat. ;)

Actually with hot dogs you may not want to identify the ingredients.

It fits my philosophy of eating in China, never ask what the meat is because they may just tell you!

Lets see what they bring out for a Sat arvo.
Won't be dinner, too early for that.
Probably that cheese and beef and potato *, (insert what the name of it was) didn't take note the day I had it in late Jul (weekday)), or what they call it.
And the requisite DIY sangers (toasted bread and ham and cheese ala VA the lounge).
Ok, baited breath, and wait and see.
Seeing it will be a weekend when I am not doing anything else, I might just ask for 2 bottles of cider.

The pork rolls I've been getting in the MEL J lounge lately. Quite tasty.
