A next door neighbour sent me this photo last night:

and asked whether it was an "alright" wine. My Penfolds Rewards of Parience is an older version (where 2002 is the last vintage reviewed) so I knew the 2002 vintage was a ripper - so I offered my advice (me to come over and try it with them
). She replied:
"So does it matter if it hasn't been stored lying down? And in a cupboard? Should Justin use it in a beef and red wine curry?"
I fear that with dry cork it may be assigned to that duty. But so told him to try it first as he cooked the curry...and invite me over to try both (he's a great cook like his wife).
