I just attempted to buy a $750 AUD Virgin Australia voucher online and was sent an email saying that a standard security check required me to send a copy of my credit card and a form of id to a fax number (for giftvouchers.com). I rang and cancelled the transaction as I found this odd....and for myself who is time poor, quite irritating. This coupled with the $16.50 processing fee is just a tad excessive. Anyone else had this problem? Qantas doesn't do this ...
