Apparently Sydney Airport launched its revised 20-yr plan with the Govt today.

An interesting picture (I can't quite place it, but the article mentions a new road)

That'd be the Seventh Street to Robey Street exit that is proposed in the Ground Transport part of the draft plan. It'd be looking north with the Coates Hire Building and Stamford Hotel to the east.

The current Sir Reginald Ansett Drive entry and exit would become the one-way entry, while the above would be the one-way exit. Refer Figure 7.4

Gotcha, with an extended T3 on the left of the picture and presumably carpark on the right.

The lack of weather covering at the pickup/dropoff zone is a concern (although makes the pictures look much prettier)

Any improvements to the entry to the airport would be long overdue.

On Friday night it took dad a while to get through and on the way out I could see the cars banked up all the way back to 2nd set of lights on Qantas drive. Not good.

If traffic is bad, I sometimes get the taxi to drop me off at Ninth St and walk in.
