Zuji - no credit card fee!

Or you can use Qantas gift vouchers, on the Qantas site.! (if you are trying to avoid CC fees)

If you book Virgin Australia via Zuji, you can modify your booking on the Virgin site. Any changes that cost require you to pay the credit card fee.
Pretty simple really!

Unless you are purchasing fully flexible airfares then you will still need to pay a $60 change fee on Qantas website plus any difference in airfare.

Either way I would still prefer to book on Qantas website and use vouchers for the booking.

Does anyone know if Zuji charge to the Qantas merchant account, or their own?

Last time I looked at zuji, the prices were a little bit higher than on Qantas, so my guess is that they add the credit card fee on when they show you the price, and that they don't change you a "extra" credit card fee at time of purchase. I could be wrong....

That is how it seems to me too. Zuji was pulling up an N class fare each way that Qantas.com wouldn't let me book so I was thinking of booking with Zuji to save $300 or so.

What was happening on Qantas.com was when I selected a sale fare for outbound it would grey out the sale fares inbound, plus all other inbound fares on the flight I wanted. Zuji would just let it through. I wanted to make sure it was charged by the Qantas merchant account so I would receive extra points on my WW EDR MasterCard.

I called Qantas who said they could book the fare and flights I wanted on their side. They checked Qantas.com, acknowledged there was some sort of error and waived the phone booking fee.

... and they now accept Amex on the Australian site (not sure when this was added - but it hadn't been working for a long time). I'm happy.

Looking at my credit card statements, sometime between September (Zuji on Visa) and December (Zuji on Amex) last year!

I had a look at this while booking some flights this evening. It was quoting 216.70 for a MEL-PER flight, while Qantas was quoting $209. However, after clicking through, by the time I got to the confirmation page, Zuji had dropped back to $209.
