A lot of FT talk about AA website not displaying these so easily anymore.

Am looking for a status retention run soon to continue my love affair with AA domestic F, the warm cookies and ice cream sundaes.

Can anyone offer suggestions? Please PM if you don't want it to be public.

Directly from AA when I enquired over the weekend regarding the drastic change in some P/A fares that changed last Friday (some 300% increase)

It looks like some of the lower First Class fares now need to include travel on US Airways.
We're sorry for your disappointment and thank you for checking with us.
We don't know why the rules have changed and hope you'll keep checking with us on your upcoming trips

I doubt it's ITA so much as the fact that these days multi-segment bookings beyond one connection tend to rise in cost rapidly.

The routing for say the cheapest LAS to SJU *UPP fare can now read like LAS-DFW/MIA/CLT-SJU meaning the cheap fare is only valid for a single connection at one of the three ports referred to.

Go beyond that and you end up with two separate fares booked end-on-end.

One port that may be of interest to some was NAS, although I have not looked at it this month.

I did book NAS-(Y)-xMIA-(P)-xORD-(P)-LAX for USD535 to earn 230 SC's for the new year back in May.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I've been going nuts on ITA Matrix lately just plugging in destinations to see what I can get.
Have found lots of options with the best just over $2/SC. Quite a lot around $2.50-$3.00 mark.
Pretty much everything is 1 stop. 2 stops tend to jump in price a lot and I don't know how to look for three stops though I've read it can be done?
I haven't tried aa.com yet to see if I can actually book most of these.
Also noticed US are often cheaper, but the locations I've been looking seem more heavily served by AA.

What I'm really struggling with is getting good value for the number of SC I need. It seems the best value is around 200SC each way... I don't need that many but reducing the SC earn just seems to worsen the ratio.
