It's been a couple of years since I book YUPP fares with American Airlines, and I seem to recall being able to do it on the aa.com.au site, but now it does not offer the option of selecting restricted first, even when you select multi-city. In saying that, when I go to www.aa.com and do the same search using multi-city search function I can select restricted first.

So, do you simply us the US website, book the flights and then contact the Australian contact number for AA and complete the transaction?

I have searched the forum, but nearly all the threads are old and out of date.

Hi Maca44,

All explained here.

Good Luck!

I need to get from Seattle to Chicago and have a day or so up my sleeve, so can someone suggest best routing for SC's per $. I have found SEA-DFW-ORD in P for US$495 but wondered if anyone else could suggest something different.

I would suggest that's quite reasonable given AA has few routes ex-SEA.

Around what time of year?

USD499 via is about as good as it gets for SC's - there are directs for USD488 but earn 120 SCs' at least via DFW you earn 210.

Thanks. I couldn't find anything better. Just a pity CA haven't released any award flights YVR-HKG-SYD which would save me going back to ORD, and the reason I am doing so is I want to fly CA and not QF. I have time on my hands in any event, so no problem
