In addition
Top 10% of points earners. Only earnt 148,000 points (redeemed a stack of flights)

And nowhere near WP in fact barely staggered over half way even with the Loyalty bonus of 50 plus the all-in 80…. Plus the on the ground earning of 30
So top 5% of flyers for a very ordinary SC earn (code share, rewards tics plus non double DSC)

If you needed about 400K QFF to be in the top 1% of earners and QFF has 17.6M members that earned 222 billion points last year, that means....

The top 1% of earners earned at least 70 billion QFF, or roughly 31% of all points earned in the last year. And probably much more as there will be plenty in the top 1% that are way above the 400K mark.

In other words, the top 1% earn at least 30% of all points.

The QFF economy is one of the most unequal around!

32 flights, 82,031 kms
Top 1% of flyers, 5% of points earners (330k).
Membership year end August, requalified WP by November but unlikely to make P1… LTG last year though so wondering whether to start diversifying with other carriers…

Looks like the most obvious metric for % flyer is distance.

It seems like the threshold for 1% Flyer is about 80,000 km flown. Does that seem about right?

About to hit QF platinum for the first time end of Dec - with QF km's representing 25% of my flying this year (really diversified across OW metal) with only 9 out of 43 flights being on QF metal (and only 70 SC out of 1433 via double SC) - was a very very tough road to my first QFF OWE status !

I took four flights, but two of them were rewards tix; interesting that they were counted. As LTG I didn’t get any ‘Top %’ figure (or more accurately ‘bottom %’ 🙂) for my lack of flights.

I wonder who cares less, QF or I?

Maintained WP with VA though… and *G with TK.

1% earners here but I’ve never made it to PC+ (although did get relatively close last member year ending July).

So I can only assume the PC+ crowd are less than 1%!

PC+ but only top 5% earner - guess that comes down to timing being a July anniversary.

The redemptions doesn't correctly reflect cancelled reward flights
