Your celebration cake is our gift at 10000 meters (TK)

I just got the celebration cake email.
Do you take the cake with you or share it with your fellow passengers ?

I was wondering about that myself. I guess it would depend what country you are about to enter & whether they'd allow you to bring cake into the country. You might get more brownie points sharing it around the cabin. :p

When I first glanced at the email I thought it was 10,000 bonus points for flying on or near your birthday but I then noticed it was talking about getting the cake whilst flying at 10,000 metres!

A couple of days ago, I started a thread in the Questions section about what happens when you fly on your birthday as I hope to soon.

Depends on the airline. When I flew with TK in April ... absolutely nothing! Hotel didn't notice, either! :)

It did say you need to register and be a "miles and smiles" member.....

Email for me, too.
Does that mean we have a lot of August birthdays, aligned with the TK status match? :)

SQ provided a cake on my honeymoon flight (APR 2000). Slept most of the way but they still presented it. Too it off the aircraft and had it in the hotel over a couple of nights.
