I think I saw the artcile that the residences are somehgint like 2.2m points! wont be happening for me in my lifetime unfortunately,First class including apartments is fine on points. The three-bedroom residence can be booked on points through the Etihad program.
so there is no way to use amex points to get into eithard residences ? I can see that etihad first class is possible
If you are earning Amex Membership Rewards points they should be transferable to Etihad Guest. The transfer rate may vary depending on which Amex program you are enrolled in.

You can book The Residence with Etihad Guest miles but only as an OpenSeat award i.e. trading points for a revenue seat. The cost is close to 2.2 million miles for SYD-AUH one way for one person.

I just checked his Twitter page. Seems he's had a rough time, but is coming back. What happened to this guy? I visited his site for the first time in a long time the other day and it appears to be a wasteland. Sporadic stories at best and in fact nothing at all for weeks.

I read this part and where he said he was coming back. But then nothing since. Seems it was not to be. Hope he’s ok.
