Can anyone advised if a YASA booked in the X fare bucket is refundable? I (mistakenly?) thought that all ASA's were refundable if you call up but the premium desk said all I could get was a voucher. Depending on the value of the voucher, could I at least cancel and lose 5k points given it's X?

Any advice appreciated.

As with ANY *ASA, it depends on the rules of the fare when booked. These are readily available at that time.

I always try to save or print a copy to a .pdf when I book.

What do you see when you look the booking up online?

It didn't occur to me that it wasn't refundable. It shows as Red e-Deal but that seems like an anomaly given the fare bucket.

Edit: it's only MEL-SYD one way so not the end of the world, just a waste of 10k points.
