Wrong status on EK site with QF status

Hello AFFers,
I am a Gold QF and will be travelling on EK next month (booked on EK and flights will be on EK metal). After I put my QF number into Manage My Booking on EK website, I can see there are only 12kg extra baggage allowance.
I have contacted EK, and EK confirmed that with a QF Gold status I should be eligible for 16kg extra baggage. As to why the website only showing 12kg, they have no idea.
I'm not particularly concerned about my baggage allowance, but rather the status when entering lounges at DXB and all other ports while travel. I will have three transits in DXB and all of them longer than 5 hours...
Anyway, I would like to ask fellow members here if you got any similar issues?
In the worst case, if on my EK boarding pass, the status is showing Silver instead of Gold, will my Gold card give me access to all the lounges?
 
A valid Gold card should solve any problems, I have not heard of any Dragons in DXB, in fact it seems they apply a liberal attitude to some extent, only place where I have been able to guest two into a F lounge.

Just a thought - what status were you when you booked the flights?

That's the thing I had thought about. While I booked this flight, I was actually just Bronze, and a status run pushed me to Gold overnight (basically skipped silver).
I tried the trick that works with Qantas (remove the number from booking and added it back), not working.
