I'm currently in lounge waiting for flt. Gentleman came around to clear my table. I had nearly full cup of coffee & let him know he could take it, as explained it was too strong for me. About 10 minutes later he returned with a cuppa explaining the coffee was too nice not to have it & that it was half strength. I thanked him & explained I drank decaf & off he went & returned with a lovely half strength decaf. I'm almost overcome ( of course feeling bit emotional returning from o/s & leaving some family & friends). Still very appreciated.
 
nice service, must have been a slow day for the guy! guess the ranks of WPs are really starting to thin :)

You're on a roll. Did you buy a lottery ticket?

FWIW I get similar treatment in SYD and BNE on a regular basis.

- Asked if I want cheese platters
- Drinks poured when I walk to bar or even brought to me if I am sitting down
- Pretzels from out the back if they've been taken away

Appreciate what they are doing. Always take the time to talk to them.
 
No lottery ticket, but love my autographed 380 model, trying not to bore others at work, show and tell......

How do you tell which staff (at QF lounges in general) work for who?
Most people would just assume that they staff a QF lounge, thus are QF staff.

I know a baggage handler at CBR who works for the airport. He had hurt his back and was on light duties and they had him working in the QF J lounge.
