Hi learned ones, would anyone know this? CM
Hi learned ones, would anyone know this? CM
I have a conviction for DD from 3 years ago and I have entered twice since.
We as Australians do not need to apply for any visa but we must get an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization). Easiest way is online https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/ . In the application all they ask regarding criminal history is drug or terrioism questions.
You will have no troubles

I would be extremely surprised if it precluded you from entering.Hi learned ones, would anyone know this? CM

I have entered the USA twice since a DUI and the first time I told them about it and was told not to bother telling them about it next time.
No they don't! They ask if you have ever been arrested or convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude - it doesn't say "Have you ever been arrested or convicted for drugs or terrorism only". Not sure where you got that information from.
A good thing the US don't consider DD in itself "moral Turpitude".
Many thanks
If you want to be ultra safe take the court transcripts with you as backup. Just in case. Many thanks JohnK I will proceed with booking, looking forward to my first time on the A380 and in "J"
