Worse than feet on bulkheads

I don't see anything wrong with that. As long as there is no smelly nail polish

I’m with you … and a billionty times better than doing it while driving!
Practical - finishing powder residue was dusted on the seat beside her as she definitely didn’t want it on her clothes.
General - it’s a shared public space not your bathroom
But yes it’s not as bad as men shaving and leaving bits of whisker on seats (which I have seen done) or the smell of nail polish.

General - I’m going with “who cares”, it’s not doing something icky or has any effect on any other passenger.
Practical - OK I’m with you entirely there, that’s just rude.

How about full makeup on a train? Riga to Tallinn just now.

I remember catching a train in the UK once and this woman was putting on her make up. I think the train was going to some rugby tournament so there was a few people that had part taken of several ales and this was still in the morning. There was an Irish guy that decided that he would give a running commentary of her putting on her make-up. It was absolutely hilarious and he’d be making comments. No no that’s enough blush don’t overdo it love. No, you’ve spilled a bit of mascara. You just need to clean that up. Oh don’t make that lippy too thick.

Ah thank you!!!
It’s a thing to wear thongs (flip flops) in this part of the world …

And yeah it was miniature …. And no one in Premium Cabin

Perhaps on the other hand were I to be wearing some fine and dandy black dress shoes …

Full marks for being able to get your feet up that high!!!

I agree… while i have absolutely no issues with feet on bulkheads… in fact it’s actively encouraged in qantas PEY… i’d prolly prefer shoes on, or at least fresh clean socks. If you’re gonna get the dogs out they’d need to be pretty special. Or otherwise cover them up!

Ok, ya’ll know I have a pretty high tolerance… but i’m the supey today… a middle-aged woman in denim shorts, floral shirt and wide-brimmed hat placed her dirty-sandalled foot on the bottom shelf of the fridge to reach a product on the top shelf!

This was a doorless fridge, so the bottom shelf was stacked with milks, cheeses etc. She just planted her foot there, shuffled the products out of the way, grabbed the top shelf with one hand, and up she went.

I was momentarily blindsided to ask her if she ‘really just did that’. 😳

What did I do to deserve two entires into this thread from consecutive flights?

VA SYD-MEL. Row 3 - guy dressed a little hobo-ish in 3D. I’m in 3A with vacant seats 3B and C. Another pax in 3F. Lightly loaded flight.
After departure and seatbelt sign off he slips his thongs off and proceeds to pull his legs and feet up so that he was effectively squatting on the seat. Squatting on his haunches might be another description. It didn’t gross me out but was very weird. FA asked him to put his feet down after about 20 minutes. Surely that can’t be comfortable.

Connection then to MEL-DRW. I’m in 4F. Board and there’s a stocky hirsute guy in 4E. He hopped up pleasantly to let me in. The problem was he was stinky. Not full-on BO but sort of stale post exercise. And his clothes smelt like they hadn’t had a wash in a long time. I spent the entire four hour flight trying to look out the window and in the fuselage direction. Air vent was opened max and pointed at me to get fresh air. 🤢
