Try 17.1 hours in a 737 (variant) 😉.

Or the same in an F-18. The original aircraft were delivered to Oz, non stop across the Pacific.

No service. No toilet. No moving around. The cabin is pressurised to something very high, not airliner altitudes, so you'd have to keep the mask on. Live bang seat, so you can't loosen the harnesses.

No FF points.

Can only imagine how painful that is. Doubt there were any special allowances paid for that extreme discomfort. Transpac Y is painful enough.

No FF points.

jb you've been on AFF long enough to know it's all about the SCs ;)

Imagine if there was a status boost for going supersonic :)

I assume some basic self-catering ... depending on how many muesli/chocky bars can be stuffed into the pockets of the flight suit. I guess a few "bombing runs" over the few cruise and/or cargo ships to break the boredom would be frowned upon.

I know the new A321neo LR aircraft has a rather good range and is capable of flying trans-Atlantic. But surely a non-stop flight of 12 hours and 20 minutes in a single-aisle A321 is just too long?

Air Transit has scheduled a non-stop YUL-ATH flight later this month on a A321neo LR. The outbound flight time is 9 hours, 5 minutes and the return leg is 12 hours, 20 minutes. The flight is scheduled as non-stop.

The flight went non-stop YUL-ATH (just over 8 hours) and ATH-CDG-YUL on the return.
